The architecture and interior design firm Álvarez-Díaz & Villalón (AD&V®), with offices in Puerto Rico and Florida, announces that it has been accepted to become part of the United Nations Global Compact, the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative.AD&V is the first Puerto Rican design firm to join this organization as a signatory member, supporting the principles of the Global Compact in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption. In addition, the firm has reaffirmed its support to implementing and measuring the impact of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that are part of the 2030 Agenda, which aim to achieve a sustainable world by 2030."Corporations play a crucial role in how we shape the future of our communities and our island.
