September 16, 2018 - With its main goal of developing strategies that pave the way for Building the Future, the Puerto Rico Builders Association (ACPR, by its acronym in Spanish) presents a solid and relevant program that will provide the correct tools for all the attendees to its 45th Annual Convention.This year’s convention rundown ratifies that it is the most important construction industry event on the island.For the first time in the ACPR history, the Chairman of the National Association of Home Builders, Randy Noel, will participate as one of our speakers, in addition to the NAHB Second Vice Chairman, Dean Mon.Our Key Note Speaker, César Augusto Hernández, former Planning Director of the City of Medellín, Colombia, will share the importance of the urban and social transformation of his city and its relevance for us in Puerto Rico. Hernández is a well-recognized international speaker on the city’s transformational models.This convention marks the 1st anniversary of hurricanes Irma and María. Therefore, we will have a distinguished panel that will discuss: “Lessons Learned – Building the Future: A road map for success”.The future of Puerto Rico’s Energy System and Harvesting the value of water will also be topics to be covered during this event. The Hon. Pamela Hughes Patenaude, Deputy Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, will address the public, and The Hon.
