In recent days, the Puerto Rico Builders Association, PRBA, presented the Adopta Ahora Foundation with a donation in the amount of $18,500, which was raised during the BBQ Throwdown, an event held at the end of last year in conjunction with the Association of General Contractors, Puerto Rico Chapter (AGC-PR).

The Adopta Ahora organization promotes the adoption of children between the ages of 6 and 17 and this donation will help them continue their great work. 

“We feel very grateful for the support received during the BBQ Throwdown, which has allowed us to support a project of love such as Adopta Ahora,” said Vanessa de Mari-Monserrate, AIA, Past Chairwoman of the PRBA, and one of the organizers of the event. . “We thank all the attendees and the sponsors of the event, who made it possible for us to support this organization,” said Arch. de Mari-Monserrate.
 
For his part, Agustín Rojo, Chairman of the PRBA, indicated that with this effort the Association reaffirms its commitment to supporting entities that promote quality of life in different sectors of the community. “As an organization that has been established for more than 72 years, we are proud to have contributed to the Adopta Ahora's efforts and we will continue to support efforts like these in the future,” said Rojo.
